*A drug free message will be made each morning during the announcements
Contests:
Pennies for Patients: Penny Drive- Competition between Homeroom classes (Winner Pizza Party)
Ms. Wildy/Ms. Cleveland's class
BMS raised over $300.00 for the Leukemia foundation
Poster Contest: Students will create a poster with a drug-free message. Entries may be submitted to their Ms. Redican/Ms. Clements by Thursday morning
Writing Contest: Students will write an essay, song, or pledge with a drug free message. This can be done individually.
Monday
GIVE DRUGS THE BOOT
Everyone will western wear. Students will dress up as cowboys and cowgirls.(Jeans)Must wear boots to wear jean bottoms. No Tennis shoes.
Tuesday
STAYIN THE GAME AND BE DRUG-FREEDAY
Students will wear their sports caps and sports jerseys. Students may wear their favorite sport teams’tops with uniform pants. The weekly winners will be announced at the end of the program.
Wednesday
SOCK IT TO DRUGS DAY-Students will wear crazy socks and create their own t-shirt with a drug free message.. Students will wear crazy socks and their Drug-free message t-shirt. Each student will bring canned goods for the food drive
Thursday
BE COOL AND STAY DRUG FREE
Students will dress up like their favorite celebrities with shades. Fall Festival at 6:00-7:30. Target students will set up a booth.
Friday
“Be RED-y to Say NO to Drugs!”
Wear a red shirt with uniform pants or bottoms. Please keep in mind that a red shirt with blue or any other color writing is not acceptable. Students may wear red jeans or red bottoms. There will be a short Drug-free assembly by the Target Club.
